X Consulting assisted EVDrive in converting a stock hatchback for Hyundai to use as a testing platform. X Consulting wrote the controls firmware to control all of the BEV systems including charging, HV PDU, battery pack, and motor control. Extensive firmware was required to emulate the ICE systems which were removed from the CAN bus. All required information was translated between the OEM CAN bus and the EV busses.
